Great show. Loved every minute. What’s so compelling is the Wanderers vs Settlers theme. Ongoing biblical conflict that’s been there since the dawn of men. It’s incredible how witty the Mongols were. I extracted so much out of these hours. People fixate on their war-related advantages, but even in terms of human mgmt., they were so much ahead of their time.
For us, living in the middle east, there are still so many wandering tribes that possess nomad cultural traits and you always feel like a collision is just a matter of time.
