Dan,
I’m a new listener an thoroughly enjoy all of your shows. Keep shooting straight and don’t sugar coat anything for the sake of the audience. Also for the love of god do a “blueprint for Armageddon” style series for WW2.

Good talk. Almost everyone I know hates the political opposition and I believe it is the root of 90% of the problems in America. (Here’s my tinfoil hat theory) The two party system was built to divide and distract the public to the point we cannot get anything done because nobody will compromise an inch. The two party system allows elitism and has helped build the ruling class by monopolizing the public office race with an evil or less evil decision, with the same families being a large part of the game for the last 30+ years.

Good episode, Dan.

Enjoying your hardcore history podcast (long time Mike Duncan History of Rome and Revolutions fan). Getting political insight from someone with this degree of familiarity with history is refreshing and insightful. The lizard brain mentality of the modern thought process, political and otherwise, is well exposed and thoughtfully contemplated upon in this episode.
